We help the villagers of ethnic minorities areas reach food security, reduce their debts and embrace appropriate living conditions. We disseminate sustainable agriculture techniques with existing resources and traditional competencies :

• Cultivation of organic vegetables

• Planting trees and fruits as more diverse as possible

• Dissemination of composting, permaculture and agroforestry techniques

• Dissemination of the SRI-rice cultivation technique

• We reinforce agricultural capacity of farmers through participative approach (trainings, study trips, exchange with other ethnic groups of farmers in the province, visit of experts)

• We group our production when needed and we find distributors that buy farmers production

• We provide trainings and support in logistics, market understanding andmarketing strategies

• We give farmers prospects to express their needs (meetings, focus groups, community visit and collaboration with Authorities)

• We elaborate a common plan and follow-up their activities with an integrated system of monitoring and evaluation

…and an organic pilot farm.

Da Nha project disposes of an organic farm, freely accessible to the villagers. This farm promotes organic farming that respects both nature and humans, through sustainable and organic agricultural techniquessuch as permaculture. This organic pilot farm aims at becoming a model of efficiency and sustainability in the village and inthe province.

• Run by Kinh and K’ho Mà ethnic local technicians of the Project, this organic-oriented farm has acquired expertise in 4 main activities : banana trees- and organic vegetables plantation, sustainable agriculture techniques dissemination and laboratory for tissue culture propagation.

• The farm has developped a network of customers for agricultural products in Lam Dong province, in Dong Nai province, in Binh Thuan province and in Ho Chi Minh province and share all the marketing prospects to the beneficiaries of Da Nha and other EM areas.

• The farm is a school farm that provides free trainings and free consultancies to the beneficiaries (sometimes free labour for the most vulnerable beneficiaries)

• Da Nha farm sells organic products but it is a non-profit company since all revenues generated beyond the running expenses finance the social activities for ethnic minorities. We aim at generating more income and being therefore able to finance more social activities.
